Volunteering

School volunteers are a valuable asset to our students and school. The support and assistance of our parents and members of the community are truly appreciated. Therefore, we would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to participate in the volunteer program at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School. If you are unable to volunteer at school, there may be opportunities to complete volunteer activities at home.

To ensure the safety of our students, we have a procedure for all of our school volunteers. In order to volunteer, it is necessary for you to read the enclosed Volunteer Guidelines and Student Privacy/Confidentiality Agreement. This includes coming in for lunch with your child or volunteering in any classroom location within the school. It is not necessary to fill out the Privacy/Confidentiality Agreement to attend school performances, field trips, and activities that involve an invitation to come and work with or observe your child.

Please sign one of the attached Privacy/Confidentiality Agreements and return it to the Elementary Office and keep one for your records. Please note that submitting a Privacy/Confidentiality Agreement in no way commits you to anything. It merely indicates your interest and ensures the safety of our students.
