Miss Faulise’s class celebrated the 50th day of school in true ’50s fashion! Students dressed up and enjoyed themed activities. They wrapped up their retro fun with a sweet treat - delicious ice cream floats to end the day on a happy, fizzy note!
Family First Dinner
Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School held their annual Family First Dinner on November 25th.
Superintendent's Conference Day
Faculty members were introduced to the upcoming Portrait of a Graduate graduation requirements and participated in an engaging workshop on Explicit Instruction, led by renowned educational practitioner Angie Hanlon.

Halloween 2025 was in full effect with the students and staff at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary. Everyone enjoyed the day which concluded with the Annual Halloween parade.

Theodore Roosevelt Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Today, we proudly marked the completion of another piece of the Cheektowaga-Sloan Beautification and Athletic Facility Enhancement Capital Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new playground at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary. This exciting addition provides a safe, engaging space for all TR students and reflects our commitment to investing in their growth and well-being. Thank you to all who helped bring this project to life.
Welcome Back Students!
TR welcomed back students for the 2025-26 school year. We are excited to have our UPK students here for the full day.
Supply Drop Off and Carnival at TR
TR held its Annual Supply Drop Off and PTO Carnival on Thursday, August 28th. Many families attended the event and enjoyed the carnival events, meeting their teacher, and trying out the new TR playground.
New Teacher Orientation
Cheektowaga-Sloan welcomed new faculty and staff at our New Teacher Orientation held August 21-22.
ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award
We are excited to announce that the Cheektowaga-Sloan UFSD has been awarded the ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award for our work with the Eric County Restorative Justice Coalition. This award will be presented to our district at a special ECASB dinner in June 2025.
