As the school year comes to a close, we would like to share summer activities and resources for our families (linked below). We understand that summer is, at times, not as stress free as we would like it to be. We know that families and caregivers have to think about how to keep their children busy, child care, and work schedules. Please enjoy your summer and take some time to recharge and take care of yourself!

It is important for us to communicate health information to all parents regarding Immunization Requirements and Physical Exams. We appreciate you taking the time to read the letter (attached below) and thank you for partnering with us as we work to ensure that we are in compliance with New York State requirements.

We are excited to announce that the Cheektowaga-Sloan UFSD has been awarded the ECASB Hodgson Russ Collaboration Award for our work with the Eric County Restorative Justice Coalition. This award will be presented to our district at a special ECASB dinner in June 2025.
We are excited to now offer a Popcorn Celebration Package that you can purchase for your child's birthday to celebrate with their classroom!

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, the Cheektowaga-Sloan Union Free School District community voted 'YES' to accept the proposed $8,5000,000 Beautification and Athletic Facility Enhancement Capital Project. This Capital Project has no impact on the District's tax levy or tax rate.
TR celebrated our annual Leadership Day on Friday, May 23rd! Students celebrated achieving their WIGS (Wildly Important Goals) and showcased all their achievements this year. The day ended with a schoolwide Habit Parade and a concert by Kevin McCarthy. Please enjoy the below photo gallery from the day.
On April 30th Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt hosted another great Multicultural Night. Families from our District and Community cultural organizations came and represented 13 different cultures. Families got to play games, make crafts, get Henna designs, and sample different ethnic food.
